Job Requirements
Must have 10 years of experience in managing SAP driven projects. Must have worked in large implementation projects with SAP and non SAP applications
Must have created runbook for cutover tasks for multiple SAP applications like SAP ECC, SAP PI, SAP BW, and other SAP reporting applications.
Must have good communication and coordination skills to work with multiple SAP Teams to consolidate cutover tasks over multiple SAP modules and have experience working with diverse teams across regions under extreme pressure. Proven and demonstrable ability to work with 3rd parties and business leads and stakeholders is essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all the release of new systems and updates to technical systems.
  • Developing release schedules, providing support during the technical release process, and ensuring that production systems are functional following a successful release.
  • Coordinate and build the full release plan with input from all functional and technical teams as well as change and communications teams and ensure full alignment with business.
  • Develop and own the overall Deployment workplan. This should contain a list of deliverables and activities that will be executed by the Deployment workstream.
  • Provide written documentation describing a project or program s overall Deployment strategy
  • Work with project and program workstreams to plan and develop detailed cutover plans, which include both technical and functional steps to be executed during the deployment phase.
  • Identify risks, cross application dependencies and downstream impacts for each release.
  • Lead small, medium and large teams of cutover team members during the preparation and execution phases
  • Lead deployment planning activities with IT, business and third party teams
  • Determine go live readiness criteria, socialize them with key stakeholders and obtain requisite approvals
  • Plan and execute mock cutovers to help teams prepare for the final production cutover.
